However, we are accepting all applications now! Applications will be accepted on a first come first serve basis.
The way you learn film acting is to do it….constantly. Then you need to go back and watch what you have done on a regular basis with someone knowledgeable who is vested in you as a performer! We are filming in almost every class! Not only will you have our directors to learn from, you will also get amazing feedback from your fellow actors. All actors must check their ego at the door at The Acting Project. Everyone must be willing to care about each student as much as themselves or they will not last long in our studio!
is a place for anyone interested in taking acting classes, filmmaking classes, being part of live stage productions or those who just want to grow as individuals by being part of an ensemble that is focused on something much bigger than themselves.
From the stage to the screen we are working hard to provide unique opportunities for actors to be a part of the performing arts in unique and brilliant ways! Our creative director Matt Francis is an award winning director and actor and he has a passion to help other actors, tech theatre people and filmmakers achieve their goals and grow their personal brands.

Our video production staff is experienced in non-profit videos, corporate videos, commercial productions, and anything the world has to throw at us. We all come from unique backgrounds which gives us an incredible diversity in specialties. Our staff includes award winning photojournalists, documentary filmmakers, and various other videographers. We love working in the Charlotte area but also enjoy opportunities to travel around the world!
